Here you have Buffalo Trace Straight Bourbon Whiskey in a microbatch with loads of fall notes. The minute I saw it I had to purchase this bottle, two reasons really, one I love all things fall and two I’m getting married this fall and it made me think of Happily Married. It would also be a great gift for your kids teacher. I mean, if I were a teacher this is the kind of apple gift I’d enjoy.

Nose: cinnamon, caramel and apples
Palate: caramel, candied apples and vanilla
Finish: smooth, lightly sweet and caramely

I looked on Julio’s website and they still seem to have some available for purchase; online only. If live in MA and are a Buffalo Trace fan this is a great buy. You get that traditional Buffalo Trace recipe with notes of fall.

Personally I think it’s delicious. I did compare it with our regular Buffalo Trace bottle and aside from the fall notes, this one is slightly smoother. You still get a bite that is warming, but not too harsh. It’s the perfect fall dram!
