This Manchester United edition not only celebrates Sir Alex Ferguson but, the 13 league titles won under his management. For this edition they took their 13 year house style blend and finish it in American Rye Cask.

I was able to get this whisky through my Flaviar membership. However, this is not an expensive whisky to purchase. Costs are between $30-$40. So, this would make a great gift for any Manchester United fan whether they are or aren’t whisky fans. And as you know, Fathers Day is next month if you were thinking that far ahead.

Nose: sweet, honey and vanilla
Palate: vanilla, cinnamon, citrus and sweetness
Finish: pepper, vanilla and lightly sweet

It’s smooth from start to finish. A mellow whisky that is not harsh and tastes good. I think even a non whisky drinker would enjoy sipping on this whisky, simply add ice and enjoy.

Don’t expect it to blow you away, because it will not. It’s a simple everyday whisky that is affordable and easy to drink.
