Now here’s a Texas Whiskey brand I’ve not tried before. The distillery is located in Hye, Texas and was granted a distillers permit in 2006. I mean, who wouldn’t want to carry a flask in their boots. If I had cowboy boots, I’d definitely carry a flask in it, because why not.
Nose: leather, oak, honey, nutmeg
Palate: oak, spices, fruit and vanilla
Finish: oak, caramel and smoke
This whiskey is smooth and unique tasting as it has a nice hint of smoke. I appreciate this whiskey for the fact that it was better than what I expected it to be. With that said, it’s not a whiskey anyone is missing out on if they’ve not tried it.
If you are looking for something different this is worth the try. With the uniqueness of this whiskey I would definitely love to explore more products from this distillery.
Cheers!

Note: The contents on my blog are solely my opinion. To me every palate is different! Although I may or may not like a product, I always recommend for people to try it and make up their own minds.
