While summer hasn’t officially said goodbye, fall is already making its presence known—school is back in session, September is a weekend away and the air is turning crisp. As we ease into the new season, I wanted to take a moment to share an update and reflect on the one whiskey I kept coming back to all summer long. If the title didn’t already give it away, that whiskey was Watertown Whiskey. But before I get into what makes it so special, let’s revisit its tasting notes.
Nose: coconut and caramel
Palate: light sweet, toasted coconut, caramel
Finish: light warmth and coconut
ABV: 36.5%
Cost: $35
This whiskey is truly a standout—we’re already on our second bottle this summer! It’s incredibly versatile: perfect in cocktails, smooth over ice, and just as enjoyable on its own. The coconut flavor is natural and subtle, never artificial or overly sweet, with beautifully balanced notes. I especially love the toasted coconut—it’s so good. For me, it’s the ultimate multitasker: delicious, well-priced, and enjoyable. We’ll be keeping it stocked. To me, that says it all.
Cheers!
Note: The contents on my blog are solely my opinion. To me every palate is different! Although I may or may not like a product, I always recommend for people to try it and make up their own minds.

I must admit to generally never repeat buying a bottle.
The allure & excitement of tasting a new bottle always overrides the joys of an old favourite.
Ah, I get that! They have to be really good for me to repurchase. Cheers!
