I’ve never heard of this brand till I saw it in mini form. This is a blended scotch from an independent bottler. Although I was not expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised that I like it and think it’s better than some of the more expensive bottles on my shelf.
Nose: spices, vanilla, sweetness, and apples
Palate: cinnamon, caramel, and brown sugar
Finish: spices and lightly sweet
ABV: 43%
There’s a slight sweetness to this dram that is followed by spices. For $2,this mini is good. A full 750 ml bottle goes for around $30 or so. In a world where we are spending a lot more money for crap whisky, I think this is pretty darn affordable and bonus, it’s tasty. With just about 5 weeks till Christmas, it also is a good whisky that will not break the bank.
Cheers!
