The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve

I recently purchased this mini bottle to avoid having to buy the big bottle. Honestly, I prefer to buy small bottles. They are cheaper and if I don’t like the juice, they don’t sit on our shelves. This whisky is for those who enjoy whisky on the sweeter side.

Nose: sweetness and tropical fruit
Palate: caramel, vanilla, and fruit
Finish: light, citrus and sweet
Cost: $35-$45
ABV: 40%

This whisky is approachable, easy to drink, light and fruity. I found the sweetness levels to be quite balanced and not overly sweet. What’s even better, the cost. No, this isn’t revolutionary whisky, but it’s affordable and it’s good. This could easily be a daily drinker. Don’t want to break the bank, here’s a good option.
