Alright, so today we aren’t talking whisky, but rather a new drinking obsession of mine, Woody’s Bourbon Cream.

If you’ve never heard of it, but you love Bailey’s, you’ll need to give this brand a try. Produced by the Ohio based company Apollo Beverages, Woody’s Bourbon Cream comes in four flavors: Original Bourbon Cream, Honey Bourbon Cream, Maple Bourbon Cream and Apple Pie Bourbon Cream.

I was lucky enough to try all four and although they were all good, my favorite is the Apple Pie. We purchased a bottle and it quickly became a favorite weekend treat with our coffee.

The Apple Pie creamer truly tastes like an apple pie. It is lighter in consistency, smooth and sweet without it being overly sweet. The flavor profile is truly on point and not artificial tasting. You get notes of nutmeg, green apples, cinnamon and bourbon. If you aren’t a bourbon fan, don’t be afraid, the bourbon notes are subtle and not overpowering.

It’s a creamer you can have on its own, mixed into coffee, a cocktail or, if these ideas aren’t appealing enough, the brand website has a recipe section with loads of recipes. It’s a product I very much enjoy and would recommend trying.
