Kilbrin Irish Whiskey

Kilbrin is an Irish whiskey brand that I recently had the opportunity to try. As I was unfamiliar with this brand, when I came across a mini 50ml bottle I bought the mini bottle. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a website specifically dedicated to the brand, but the bottle indicated that it is produced by The Irish Whiskies Co. If anyone has any insight or information about the background of the brand, share in the comments below. Now let’s dive into the whiskey.

Nose: citrus and cereal
Palate: light bite, spice, vanilla and fruit
Finish: light and smooth
ABV: 40%
Cost: $1.99 (50ml)

In my opinion, this whiskey falls into the category of an entry-level expression. It offers an easy-drinking experience, and with its low ABV, it could be enjoyed as a daily sipper. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it more than I thought, despite my initial expectations. It presents a light bite at the beginning, which quickly transitions into a well-balanced combination of spices and fruity notes, complemented by just the right amount of vanilla.

In addition, this whiskey is remarkably affordable, with a 750ml bottle priced at just $26. This represents an excellent value for a light, smooth and easy to drink whiskey. With the approachable flavors and budget friendly price, if you are looking for something new to try, this could be a good option.

Cheers!
