The Glenlivet Twist and Mix Old Fashioned

Last week I reviewed The Glenlivet Twist and Mix New Manhattan. This week, let’s talk about their Old-Fashioned ready-made cocktail. Like the New Manhattan, twisting the cap releases a mixture that goes into the cocktail.

The Old Fashioned is also a 375ml bottle at 40% ABV and retails for $21.

This cocktail is not bad and out of the two, I prefer this one. The orange notes are the most prevalent in this one. You also get bitter and spiced notes. The ice brings out more of the bitters and orange, but it doesn’t enhance the sweetness.

Although these aren’t bad and the price is great, I’ve had other ready-made cocktails that are simply a lot better. We will certainly enjoy them but not cocktails we see ourselves purchasing again.
