Tip Top Proper Cocktails

The warmer it gets outside the less whisky I drink. Fear not, it’s still chilly in Massachusetts but we recently saw these little ready-made cocktails and I couldn’t help but get them.

I purchased the Manhattan and the Old Fashioned at $4.99 each. I only purchased one can of each, but you can purchase an 8-pack for $39.99. That means you are spending about $4.99 a cocktail, which is pretty darn good in my opinion.

Manhattan: (Made with Rye Whiskey, Vermouth, and Bitters) very rye forward with loads of peppery notes. It’s full of spices, cinnamon, and bitter notes. Not sweet at all. I served it over ice and garnished with an orange.

Old Fashioned: (Made with Whiskey, Sugar, and Bitters) this one is fruity with bitters up front, slightly syrupy but I didn’t mind it in this cocktail. You also get hit with citrus and spice notes. Not sweet at all. I served it over ice and garnished with an orange.

These cocktails were a lot better than I thought they would be. The little cans pack a punch but honestly, it’s a good size portion. And they are very portable. The little cans are easy to travel with.

My favorite of the two, the Old Fashioned but my husband preferred the Manhattan. It all depends on which of the cocktails you prefer. Plus, way cheaper than spending $18+ for one of these cocktails at a restaurant.

Aside from all that, these are simply well made. If you are looking for easy ready-made cocktails, these are an absolute solid choice. $4.99 for a good, no fuss, no mess cocktail… I’d say that is a huge win.

Cheers!
