Milk & Honey Whisky

Hello 2022! My first post of the year, a brand I was introduced to just about a month ago via the Flaviar Advent Calendar. I was so impressed that my husband bought me the sampler for Christmas.

M&H an Israeli whisky located in Tel Aviv that began operating in 2014. Samples included: Classic; Elements Israeli Red Wine Cask; Elements Sherry Cask and Elements Peated.

Cask: Ex-Bourbon/Special Red Wine STR
Nose: Vanilla and oak
Palate: Vanilla, caramel, honey and oak
Finish: light and spiced

Elements Israeli Red Wine Cask
Cask: ex-wine casks sourced for Israel
Nose: fruit and oak
Palate: floral, vanilla, fruit and oak
Finish: smooth with raisin notes

Elements Sherry Cask
Cask: Oloroso and PX Sherry casks
Nose: fruit, caramel and chocolate
Palate: chocolate, fruit and oak
Finish: lightly sweet with chocolate notes

Elements Peated
Cask: Islay Casks
Nose: smoke, vanilla and oak
Palate: lightly sweet, vanilla and spices
Finish: oak and lightly Peated

I’m impressed with these whiskies and what they’ve achieved. What’s even better is how easy they are to drink. If I had to pick a favorite it would have to be the Peated, but I’m biased. Anything reminiscent of a warm fire and I’m sold.

These whiskies are easy to drink, light, approachable and show loads of promise. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us.

Note: The contents on my blog are solely my opinion. To me every palate is different! Although I may or may not like a product, I always recommend for people to try it and make up their own minds.
