Clase Azul Reposado

Yes, I know, this is not whisky but hear me out, with the weather getting warmer sometimes whisky isn’t always the best option. We gifted this tequila to our friend Dan and he was kind enough to share with us.

Nose: vanilla, oak and agave
Palate: lightly sweet, vanilla, cinnamon and agave
Finish: smooth and lightly sweet

This is an amazing sipping tequila. It’s aged in bourbon barrels for 8 months which is where the oak notes stem from. The blue agave gives this tequila a beautiful sweetness without it being overly sweet. The finish is so smooth like a great tequila would be.

For the summer, it’s a perfectly light alternative. Honestly I would drink this on its own but it would also be great served over ice. You can always make a cocktail but, before you do that, please do try it on it’s own. It’s nothing like the tequila you had in college. It’s 100X better, it’s fantastic!

Cheers!

Note: The contents on my blog are solely my opinion. To me every palate is different! Although I may or may not like a product, I always recommend for people to try it and make up their own minds.
