Sour Vodka Cocktail

After a recent grocery shop I realized I had limited space in the freezer and needed to make room. One of the things that had to go, the vodka we kept there. The minute I said this to my boyfriend he took it as a challenge to drink it. I took it as a challenge to make something new and without any sugar.

Here is my quick zero sugar (thank you Google for reminding me that vodka is sugar free) sour vodka cocktail recipe that is not only refreshing but also really really good. Now, if you don’t like sour drinks, then turn away, as this recipe is not for you.

Sour Vodka Cocktail

1 part Grey Goose Vodka (mines was the Cherry Noir flavor)

1 part Whole Foods Lime Mint Elderflower Italian Sparkling Mineral Water

1 part Santa Cruz Organic Pure Lemon Juice

Top off Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer (I used Orange Mango)

In a glass full of ice I placed each part in the order listed above and then I top off the glass with the Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer. Stir and you are done! Get ready to pucker up because it is sour. The lemon juice does a good job at masking both the vodka and the spiked seltzer; due to this it doesn’t taste alcoholic at all so, be careful how much you consume.

Cheers!

Note: The contents on my blog are solely my opinion. To me every palate is different! Although I may or may not like a product, I always recommend for people to try it and make up their own minds.
