The warm weather has finally arrived here in Massachusetts, and you know what means – it’s time to swap out the whiskey for something more refreshing. Well, sort of. Let’s bring out the whiskey cocktails!
A little over two years ago, I tried the Jameson Ginger & Lime ready-to-drink cocktail and really enjoyed it. So, when I recently spotted their Orange Spritz, I knew I had to give it a try. Let’s dive into the details.
I picked up a four-pack of 355ml cans for $12.99, which breaks down to about $3.25 per can. Each one packs a 7% ABV and is made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, natural orange and lime flavors, and carbonation.
Here is the thing – I am a big fan of Jameson. Their Orange expression is one of my favorites. But this one? Unfortunately, it didn’t hit the mark for me. The flavors come across as overly artificial, which surprised me since they nailed the citrus note in the Orange whiskey. I couldn’t even finish the can. Still, not every product will be a winner, and that’s okay – there are plenty of other Jameson offerings I still enjoy.
Cheers!
