And just like that, we are already in July which means Christmas is 6 months away. So, let me start early with the gift giving ideas.

Last week, during the 4th, we visited our friends Sara and Jeff in Virginia to celebrate a career milestone for Jeff. During that visit, another friend, Kevin who lives in the same neighborhood, brought us samples of whiskies from his awesome collection in this Aged and Ore travel case. I had never seen this travel case before. I loved it so much that I went directly to their website and purchased two for myself.

These cases cost $38 each and inside you get 4 silicone wrapped 3oz bottles, a glass marker to label the bottles, which are wide mouth for easy filling and are TSA compliant. The 3oz bottles are large enough that four people can have a generous tasting of each whiskey, depending on how you pour.

This is perfect because it will help us share and have sampling parties with our family and friends. Not only that but, if we travel and want to take some whiskies with us, we can. So, if you don’t get it for yourself like I did, this would be a great gift for any spirit lover.
