It’s hot outside so a cold cocktail is the way to go. Now, I do love a nice Moscow Mule but why make that when we have enough whiskey to lubricate a small army. If you love Irish Whiskey and Ginger Beer… Well, you’ll enjoy this cocktail.
Ingredients
- Lime
- 2 ounces Irish Whiskey (I used Waterford Dunmore Edition 1.1)
- 3/4 cup of Ginger Beer (I used Fever Tree Refreshingly Light. Note this is the low-calorie version)
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice
Fill a glass with ice (I used a mule cup) and squeeze lime into the cup. Add whiskey, lime juice, ginger beer and stir. Garnish with lime wedge.
If you don’t want to taste the whiskey but want the ginger beer, follow the recipe above. If you want to taste the whiskey, instead of 2 ounces add 4 ounces for that whiskey taste.
Cheers!
